Wow its been a while!

I know, I know, it has been a long time since I last wrote in this thing. I just got so busy with everything, I just forgot about it. Lets see what is new with me. I just love my nephew to pieces! I have been working lots and still going to school. I am liking the cash at sears, it gets really busy and annoying at times but overall its not so bad. Time goes by quicker. On saturday we got to dress up at sears. Each department picked what they were going to dress as. Mine was cowgirls. I thought my costume was pretty good. They are supposed to pick a winner and let us know cause you can win a prize but we didn't find out yet. Tonight at the church they are having the fall harvest party that I am going to help out with. I didn't really tell them exactly. I mentioned it to someone but I'm sure they'll appreciate the extra volunteer. Should be fun! Candy, kids, music, and games, what more could you ask for!
I always help out every year, its cool and better than staying at home cause they always give me a bag full of goodies as well. Tonya and Ryan got their new computer which is exciting for them and also digital cable. And we got cable, which we haven't had in a long time so that is also exciting!! Anywho, best be going!

Getting colder outside!

It is really starting to get colder outside. In a couple of weeks we will be pulling out our winter jackets! brrrr Anyways, enough about the cold. Lets see what has been new with me. Well, lots actually, not necessarily good either. For starters, Thanksgiving wasn't bad. I thought I was going to be having 2 meals but only ended up having one. I guess mom and James broke up! I didn't even think that they weren't getting along. I also found out a lot of stuff about James that I didn't know before!(Not great stuff) So now mom is looking for a job and a place in town cause he kicked her out! I can't believe that is is only 73 days til Christmas(I think) I have been at Tonya and Ryans a lot lately. Owen is just the cutest little thing. He is already trying to hold his own head up and he smiles once in a while as well. He also barely cries, when he is hungry or whatever, he is very quiet and good. Couldn't ask for a better child. I bought another digital camera but I don't really like(like the other 3) and I think I will return it and keep on looking. My problem is that I only want a cheap one and then I end up not liking it. So I am thinking I will have to spend a little more.
I went on a date on Saturday(well sort of) His name is Kris. He is in business at UPEI. We just hung out at a friends party thing and then went to grab some food. I found out I work with his brother at Sears but his brother is gone to school at the moment but will be back at christmas. He's a pretty nice guy and drives a nice car. Speaking of cars........I think it is about time I got mine inspected. I've been trying to think up good ideas for me and my little sister to do. Its hard this time of year because all the summer things are closed and the snow hasn't come yet. I can't wait for the snow now.(since it is already cold) My friends(Jesse and Cory) are going to teach me how to snowboard this winter) They have like 4 boards so they are going to let me use one. I am excited cause I always wanted learn! I guess that is all the exciting news in my life that I can think of at the moment.

I have been busy, so that is why I haven't wrote in this thing for a while. What a day! It is only 9:30 in the morning and already it couldn't get any worse. For starters, I slept in so I missed my first class. Then mom was suppose to drop me off at school and take my car to get it inspected but pretty sure that isn't happening cause my car will not reverse or go forward. Don't know why yet. Hopefully it isn't the transmission, cause back in March, I had to get one and it only had a 2 month warranty on it. My car has been acting funny lately and its time for a new one I think. It makes me mad but most of all I feel like crying. I started on front cash on Monday at sears. It went well. I know mostly everything so I didn't have to get trained. I like cash a lot better than the cafe because I find the time goes by so much faster. I usually always have someone going through cash so it keeps me busy.
My stuff was moved home. Well, some of it. My bed and some of my clothes were. All the way to Kensington I go. On Sunday I took out my little sister to the cari pool at UPEI. It was fun and cheap. Its definately something I will want to do more often. I went down the slide which I loved and on the rope. I won't go on the diving boards. I did once when Nic Jones made me! I also think my little sister enjoyed it. This Saturday I am going to take her out to stathgartney(I think that is how that is spelled, could be wrong though) and just walk the trails and stuff. They are really nice this time of year and she has a lot of energy.
I watched Owen for like 40 minutes the other day by myself. It was fun. I fed him and burped him and then he fell asleep. He's so cute, I love him so much and when I don't see him for a little while I miss him so much. I found out that the volunteer hours that I need to apply for the child and youth care worker at Holland college, can be from a variety of places and there is also no restriction to as of how far back you can go. Which makes it easy for me cause I would definately already have them as of right now because of all the years doing Nursery at Faithworks center. I guess that is all that is interesting in my life at the moment.

I am an Aunt!

Well, I haven't gotten around to writing in this thing cause I was a little busy, seeing as I am an aunt now! Yes, Tonya finally had her baby. He is named Owen Isaiah O'Connor. He was born on September 23rd, at 8:15ish, and weighed 8lbs. He's got dark hair and blue eyes. And apparently Carinne's lips! He's one cute kid. And of course I am aunt for the first time! Not only have I been busy because of that, but I have also been watching my friend's dog at her house. Her family went to Ontario from Wednesday until Monday. I kind of liked being on my own for that little while. It definately gave me a taste of what it would be like and I have to say I didn't mind it. This is my last week in cafe and I am excited cause I got my schedule last night for next month and the hours are Wayyyy better. I have more days and also just more hours altogether. I think I am going to like cash. My car broke down on Thursday night, so my friend Cory was driving me around. But then Brady boosted my car and I guess that's all it needed cause it has been working since. I also did something with my little sister on Thursday. I rented the movie "the Wild" and made supper for us.(which was pizza) Then we took the dog for a walk. We also played around with the drums and stuff. And after all that I took her to DQ for an icecream. She seemed to enjoy so all is well. I was thinking I might do something with her on Sunday this week. I was thinking we could go to the CARI pool if it is open cause she loves to swim! Well thats all for now folks!

Only about 2 weeks left of the cafe at sears, and I will move to cash. Although, in the mean time I am actually looking for a different job then sears. I would really like to get waitressing job because of all the tips! Or at resolve cause you make more an hour. So I decided I am not going to buy a parking pass to UPEI cause I am cheap. It costs $80 and I am only going for a semester and I only go 2 days out of the week. Feels like a waste to me. So I am parking over at Burger King and walking. Its a little walk, not too bad, gives me some exercise but doesn't tire me out. It only takes a couple of minutes as well. Turned out to be a nice day today, I think it is 24 degrees out. Feels sort of like summer again. My friend Jill and her family are going to Ontario for 5 days to go to a wedding so they are getting me to go and feed their dog while they are away. I am excited cause they said I can also stay there which should be fun. I like their dog, also it will be time just for myself.
Speaking of Jill, we went to see "The Last Kiss" on Sunday night.(featuring Zach Braff and Rachel Bilson) I just want to warn you not to go see it. It is a terrible movie. We had to walk out of it cause it was that bad. It said rated 14a but it should have been R. The sex scenes in it are terrible. I think it wasn't even 10 minutes into the movie. Anywho, we were really upset cause I like those actors and the previews made it seem like a very good movie. So, I thought I would just warn people. Me and my little sister are doing something on Thursday. I plan on renting the cartoon movie "The wild"(looks pretty funny) and making her supper. I also thought since she likes dogs we can play with Jill' dog and take it for a walk. She also enjoys crafts so I was going to try and do some crafts with her but I don't know what yet, so that is still a decision in the making. Thats all that is exciting in my life as of right now. Still didn't get to see my nephew but hopefully he will be here before the end of the week!

Not too much going on

Thursday, last day of school for the week and I finally bought one of my books, well, sort of. It is on my student account which means I still owe 135, whether it be from my pocket right now, or from my student loan, which will come from my pocket in the future. With my book came a remote controller. We use this once in a while in class to answer a quetion. That way the prof knows the stats. Crazy what comes with books these days. Thats probably the reason it was so darn expensive, and you can't even get it second hand. I met my little sister yesterday. It was interesting and quick. She is cute and I think we will get along well. We seem to enjoy similar activities. I have to call her mother on Monday to confirm our plans for next week. She really enjoys arts and crafts. She made me a little card the night before and it was so cute. She did a great job and it made me feel good cause she had put she is so happy that I am her big sister even before she met me.
Still a no go on Tonya. I got a new pair of shoes today at Aldo. I don't usually check there cause they have stuff I want but usually too pricey. But I decided I would. I found a pair of shoes and they are whitish. They are different but cool, just what I was looking for. Plus it showed that they were $19, but when I got up to the checkout, they only came to $14!!!! 14 dollars for a pair of shoes that I really really like from Aldo. Pretty sure I was excited about that! I'm weird. So I was told yesterday. I was also told I was a saint. So I met up with some old friends that I went to school with from grades 1-6. They are 3 guys and they are sharing an apartment. I went to see it and it is a MESS! I said I would clean it up. So last night after work I went over and cleaned up all their garbage and swept and did their dishes. They were excited, they had to go out and by new dishclothes though cause they only had moldy ones. That's how long they haven't done their dishes for! tsk tsk, boys! Anyways, their apartment is livable but I would like to go and scrub their floors as well and clean their bathroom. They also have about 50 fruit flies. They are attracted to their apartment for some reason, maybe the dirt. That's all for now folks,

Another Tuesday

Its another Tuesday and that is one of the only two days I go to school. I was going to put another Monday as my title but realized its not Monday. That's exciting cause that means this week is further along then I thought. I have about a 4 1/2 hour wait until my next class. haha They wait sucks but there is usually lots to do so I don't mind. It beats coming into school Monday-Friday. I am supposed to meet Carinne today for lunch to give her her birthday gift. I hope she likes it cause it was on her wish list. Yes, she has a wish list for her birthday, haha I thought you were only supposed to do that at Christmas! I am really liking my psychology course, the professor is really cool and it isn't a class where I am sitting and watching the clock for the time. I didn't buy the book yet cause it is $135 that I don't have. Although I might be able to put it on my student account and my student loan will pay for it. But I didn't even apply for my student loan yet cause I didn't get mom and James income tax information yet. That is a pain, cause it has nothing to do with us but yet I have to wait. My big brother person is supposed to phone me this week to go meet my little sister. I am excited. I hope she likes me. On Sunday I went out to eat at a chinese place called Silver streams. It is right by pizza delight. We had the buffet and it was actually really good chinese. We used chopsticks and the waitress tried to show us how to use them but I wasn't all that good. I didn't even have to pay for my meal. haha I was joking and asked a friend do you want to pay for it and he did. Gotta love that. He paid for everyones, there were 4 of us. But it actually wasn't a bad price. Well thats all for now, I better be going now.

Yes it is Friday and I am thanking God, although I do have to work tonight which is a total bummer! Anyway, I went to see Anne and Gilbert last night with Carinne and her mom cause Carinne had free tickets. I loved it. They were all amazing singers and actors. Its too bad that the show is going to Toronto next year cause I like it a lot. I want to buy the Anne and Gilbert cd, I'll just have to wait until I get money! Other big news is that I am no longer going to be cafe girl! Yes, you heard that right, after 10 months of slaving away at making sandwiches and muffings I am leaving it behind! Although I won't be far away. As of the first of October I will be switching to cash(CSD) and my lead will be Chrissy. I am so excited, cause I was getting tired of Cafe and also cause Angie couldn't really do the schedule right. I will probably also get more rapid credits, which means more money.(hopefully) did I already mention this?!? I just had my meeting with Big Brother Big Sister to pick out my little. He had a girl for me, she is 11 in 5th Grade and is named Michelle. I will get to meet her next week and can't wait. Its going to be so much fun. He said that she needed a positive role model and he thought I would be great for her. That makes me feel good.
There is still no word on the date with Andrew yet, but I haven't talked to Tyler for a day or two. Also, I was talking to Brady, and he doesn't know if he is ready for a relationship, he wants to try being single for a little while!?! But he still wants to hang out and do stuff and then once he's ready then maybe we'll go out. I don't know what I think about that but I don't have anyone at the moment so I guess I'll wait for now. I really want to go back to Australia. I have been thinking about it lately and I really miss. Once I come into some money someday I will go back for a very long visit cause my friend Tahlia said I can stay with her family anytime I want to!! That's pretty sweet cause it sure saves a lot of money when you don't have to stay at a motel or hotel! Well, people that's all for now and like I said before it may not sound interesting but its good enough for me!

Officially Back to School

Well, I just had my first class on my first day back to school. It was psychology. Seems like it will be interesting. Its a very big class and a lot of first year students. Seems like long ago I was one but it was just last year. Wow, I can't believe its been a whole year. The weirdest thing happened the other night. I was on Msn and I started talking to this guy named Tyler who went on the bus to the cry. I was asking how old Andrew(who was also on the trip) was cause me and Amy thought he was by far the best looking guy on the trip. Anyways, he is my age and now Tyler is trying to set us up. I'm not sure if Andrew will agree or not but if he does it will be interesting to get to know him. Tyler told me that he sings and plays guitar in their band. Thats always a plus. Its kind of funny, cause just when I thought there wasn't any guys on this Island(that were worthwhile), that happens. I also met this guy named Brady who is a year younger than me but he's really cool to hang out with. We have the same sense of humor and have a lot in common. I don't know what will happen, but we'll wait and see. Oh I totally forgot to say what I got for my birthday. I got a shirt and skirt, sunglasses, make-up bags, another shirt, a gift certificate 4 Superstore, lipgloss and a cigar little tiny baileys and and gift certificate to the liquor store. haha it was a joke from a friend cause I am now old enough.
I will no longer be the cafe girl.(So I am hoping) I have to talk to Angie before she makes the October schedule. I want to move out on Cash. Chrissy(the lead of CSD) said she would definately take me, I would really like the change and that would mean no more stupid apron or hat. Also, you get more rapid credits when on cash.(which is signing someone up for a sears card) The reason I am so excited about that is because you get $3 everytime you get one. I got 2 in the last 10 months I've been there. That isn't a lot but it is considering I work in the cafe.
Oh yes, Carinne and I are going to see Anne & Gilbert tonight. I am so excited cause I love musicals and plays. Also she got free tickets so I don't have to pay a cent. It starts at 8 and it is in Summerside so I think I will be spending the night cause it is a couple of hours long. I can't wait, although I would also really like to see Canada rocks, but everyone has seen it and the ones that didn't, don't have the money. Well, that's all for now in the life of me!

School in 2 days!

Hello, So I haven't used this thing in a while. I can't believe that school starts in just 2 days! Ok, where did the summer go? It actually starts tomorrow but I only go on Tuesdays and Thursdays, seeing as tomorrow is a Wednesday I don't go. I guess I am all registered, I still have to buy paper. I just found out that I was accepted to be a big sister in the big brother big sister program. Thats exciting, I guess they don't think I am some pervert. The guy went on Vacation so I still didn't get a kid yet. Anyways, Birthday went well, I am officially old enough to buy liquor and smokes, not like I will but I can. Tonya still didn't get that baby out of her, I believe she is due on the 14th or 15th of September so she has less than two weeks to go! Wahoo, he is going to be one spoiled little baby! I met up with some old friends the other day, ones that I went to grades 1-6 with. Its crazy seeing them again cause they changed so much but yet they didn't? Its cool though. It makes you wonder if you would of still hung out with them if I wouldn't have moved. My friend also just got a new bunny and it is so cute. It is also very tiny and black. I haven't been to the drive in for a long time but I did go to a movie on Friday evening with Carinne Jim and Sonia. We went to see Invincible. It was very good. I enjoyed it. It was about football. I was surprised that it was disney though. Although it was clean, so it makes sense. Before the movie we all went to Pat and Willies to eat which was sooo good. Even though it was a day after my birthday, I still got my meal for free!(sweet deal) I also got a mango daquari, which I ended up finding too sweet and left about half of it in the cup! Anyways, nothing exciting, just my life!
